The unit production manager makes sure everyone on set knows what’s happening and when. They’re the key link between the director, production, and crew – and always have the schedule in sight.

WHY?

So the shoot runs efficiently, smoothly, and with clear structure. The unit production manager ensures the shooting schedule is followed and that all departments work together seamlessly.

WHAT?

Help create daily call sheets, coordinate workflows, organize the set, manage communication between teams, and make sure the shoot stays on schedule.

WHEN?

Active even before the first day of shooting and absolutely essential throughout the entire production. From prep to the final take, the unit production manager is always on set keeping everything moving.

HOW?

With organizational skills, assertiveness, clear communication – and a walkie-talkie that’s rarely quiet.
