WHO?

The casting director doesn’t just find actors – they build stories. They understand what a script needs and know exactly who can bring that character to life through presence, voice, and performance.

WHY?

Because you only get one chance for a first impression. Even the strongest script won’t land if it’s in the wrong hands.

They analyze character profiles, make suggestions, set up and run auditions, give feedback, collaborate with directors and producers – and spot emerging talent before anyone else does.

WHEN?

They’re involved early on in development – often long before the first shoot day. And sometimes even during the shoot, when last-minute casting is needed.
