WHO?

The set decorator designs the look of each filming location – indoors and out. They’re responsible for choosing and arranging furniture, wall colors, decorations, and all the little details that complete a scene.

Because spaces tell stories. A perfectly dressed set makes the world feel real and gives characters a space to belong in.

WHAT?

Research, source, and select furniture and decor. Dress sets according to the visual concept. Work closely with production design, props, director, and DoP to ensure a consistent look.

WHEN?

From pre-production through to the end of filming. Set decorators coordinate deliveries, arrange setups with their team, and make sure everything looks just right.

HOW?

With a sharp eye for color, shape, and texture. A love for detail, creativity – and a library of photo books, fabric samples, color swatches, and vintage treasures.
