WHO?

The production assistant supports the production manager and the whole team with organizational, communication, and logistical tasks. Often, this role is the key link between production office and the set.

Because every production involves countless tasks, large and small – and someone needs to stay on top of things, help plan, and react quickly. Production assistants keep everything moving so others can focus on their work.

WHAT?

Have the team’s back, coordinate departments, organize transport and accommodation, maintain all kinds of lists, secure permits, answer emails and calls – and jump in when something unexpected comes up.

WHEN?

During preproduction planning, throughout the daily business of the shoot, and sometimes even after – for wrap-up tasks or accounting. Production assistants are always needed when organization is needed – which means pretty much always.
