PRODUCTION PHASE:

WHY?

Because costumes define who a character is. They reveal personality, status and time period – even a small accessory can say a lot. Costume is a key part of a film’s visual language.

WHAT?

Create concepts, design outfits, choose materials, organize fittings, and collaborate with the director, production design, make-up, and camera teams.

WHEN?

From early pre-production to the last day on set. In theory, every outfit is ready before the shoot. In practice, script changes, weather or recasting mean last-minute adjustments are part of the job.

HOW?

With creative instinct, historical knowledge, hands-on skills – plus a rack full of fabric swatches, sketches, and access to a strong wardrobe department both on set and in-house.
