Because a smooth shoot doesn’t happen by chance. Someone has to prep gear, label lenses, manage cards – and keep things tidy so the creatives can stay creative.
WHAT?
Prep cameras, handle lenses, charge batteries, swap memory cards, slate scenes, mark actors – always thinking ahead and staying sharp.
WHEN?
From gear pickup to final wrap – the 2nd AC is there every time the camera’s rolling (and even when it’s not).
HOW?
With solid organization, technical know-how, a good memory – and the instinct to know when to act fast and when to be careful. The slate doesn’t clap itself – but thanks to the 2nd AC, it claps right on time.
