Script
Script – Where stories start
Before the first camera rolls, before a single set is built or a costume stitched, everything starts with an idea – and that’s where screenwriters come in. They lay the foundation for every production: the story. Whether it’s a film, a series, or a commercial – they turn a simple thought into something that can be told and filmed. Screenwriters bring characters to life, shape dialogue that resonates, and weave it all into a compelling narrative.
What does the department do?
Write the script – From first idea to final draft, every twist, turn, and line of dialogue is crafted with care.
Develop the story and structure – They make sure the plot flows, characters grow, and the story hits the right beats.
Support the director and team – A great script is never set in stone. The writers’ department works with the director to adapt it to the production’s needs and artistic vision.
Ensure consistency – They keep the storyline coherent throughout the entire production.
Collaborate closely with cast and director – Dialogues or scenes often evolve in conversation with the actors and director to ensure the desired impact.
